Open Water Scuba Instructor

Eugene is one of the newest members of our instructional staff. He learned to dive in 1990 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, spending his early dive career at sites throughout the country.  He completed his Divemaster certification in 1991 with Scuba Dubai and later joined the staff at Aquatic Adventures in 2021, where he earned his first Instructor rating.  Since then Eugene has become a valuable Aquatic Adventure Scuba Academy asset. His reason for becoming an instructor is to inspire and educate people who would normally not be interested in diving.  His approach to scuba instruction gains him immediate trust and confidence from the students.  Eugene has enjoyed numerous liveaboard experiences in St.Maarten,Turks and Caicos, Saba, St. Kitts, and he is always ready to share his diving experiences with staff, students, and fellow PADI professionals.  In addition to diving extensively throughout the Caribbean, Eugene is also one of the shop's scuba equipment technicians.  His attention to detail and level of expertise ensures any equipment he services or repairs are returned in top notch operational condition and safe for diving. When not diving he is an avid motorcyclist and enjoys running and cycling.
