“My review is long overdue. Our family got certified last summer with Aquatic Adventures. Let’s just say I was a nervous diver who struggled every step of the way. I can’t say enough how wonderful the instructors were with me, often giving me one-on-one tutorials to ensure I felt comfortable while mastering the process. A year later, I have dove FL, Grenada and am now in Belize. My first dive yesterday was when I felt everything clicked and felt 100% comfortable from start to finish. There was no flailing to descend, no using my arms to swim, no using my bc to manage my buoyancy, no flooded mask, no popping my regulator out. My first feeling was pride and my second was gratitude for Cheryl and Ty, and everyone who gave me the foundation to become a diver. Love, love, love these guys. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+”

“My husband and I went through the ReActivation course at Aquatic Adventures since we last scuba dived 6 years ago. Fantastic knowledgeable staff and great communication to prepare for our recertification. The dive shop is easily accessible off the highway and a 5 minute drive away from the Audrey Moore rec center where you do your pool instruction.

The ReActivation class was just 6 students so it gave the instructors time to personalize the training to address our needs. I enjoyed both the classroom and pool refresher. The dive shop provided all the gear we needed, made sure we were safe, and spent extra time with students who had mask or equalizing problems. In spite of this, the length of the class gave more than enough time to give every student personalized attention so it never felt rushed.

The dive shop gear is fairly priced. I price compared and ended up buying a Scuba Pro mask at the shop. They even gave me a 10% student discount!

All around great experience. I would definitely return for classes, dive gear, or future dive trips.”

“My husband and son recently completed the two-day Introduction to Scuba Diving course at Aquatic Adventures, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The program included classroom learning, hands-on training, and pool skills.

What really stood out was the level of care and personal attention the instructors gave. My son struggled with some of the skills, and Dennis went above and beyond both days to work with him one-on-one. He took extra time to calm his nerves, give him encouragement, and make sure he felt supported. Jennifer was equally amazing—she even stayed after class so my son could push through a skill he was really struggling with, helping him find success.

The balance of encouragement, instruction, and patience was perfect. As a parent, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the extra effort they gave to ensure my son felt confident and accomplished. Aquatic Adventures truly provides not just instruction, but genuine support. Highly recommend!”

"Professional and knowledgeable instructors. My husband and I -- on a whim -- decided to pursue a scuba diving certification with no prior knowledge. Our primary instructor at Aquatic Adventures, Wayne, was very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful in teaching us core scuba concepts and about the many pieces of scuba equipment. I had been a bit scared prior to the class, but he repeated concepts and skills, and answered my numerous questions, until I felt comfortable. He also was very attentive to us at all times. We completed our pool certification with Aquatic Adventures and then completed the open water certification while on a vacation. Our scuba instructors for the latter were very impressed with how well prepared we were from Aquatic Adventures and kept saying that they felt lucky that their job was much easier than usual. Furthermore, on our first dives after certification, we recognized that we had safer techniques than some other divers on the same trips, for which we felt very fortunate! Highly recommend the instructors! We also appreciated multiple store employees' help in selecting equipment. For instance, I discovered that my previous mask didn't fit as well as it should after the store let me test out other masks, which then made scuba diving much more enjoyable for me. Definitely plan to take any more courses with Aquatic Adventures."
